The grapes for this wine were sourced from Lyndsay’s sister, Eira Thomas’ Vineyard on the Naramata Bench. The grapes for this wine were handpicked, whole-cluster pressed, and fermented slowly at low temperatures, (12°C) to preserve the aromatics. Fermentation took 28 days to complete. Post fermentation, the wines were blended together to make this wine reminiscent of a traditional Bordeaux blend.
This wine is reminiscent of a traditional white Bordeaux. On the nose there are aromas of orange blossom, gooseberry and guava, along with grassy and herbaceous notes. On the palate there are flavours of kiwi, starfruit & lemon-lime. This wine is fresh and zesty, with a nice crisp finish.
