Description

Our estate Cabernet Franc is hand harvested from the Sundial Vineyard on the Black Sage Bench. Made from the original plantings in 1993, this vintage is robust and full-bodied with classic dark fruit characteristics. Firm but approachable tannins with good acidity will help this wine develop through 2022 and beyond.

"Full-bodied but invigorating, the wine is savoury enough to distinguish itself from that “other” cabernet (sauvignon), yet more ample and accessible than the textbook cabernet francs of France’s Loire Valley." ~ The Globe & Mail, January 26 2016
