Cabernet Franc


A plush nose of dried cherry, dried raspberry, and cacao. On the palate, the wine is full of ripe red berry fruit, juicy acidity and sweet tannins that linger and finishes dry. Definitely pair with grilled red or game meats, or the wine can be appreciated on its own.

The 2016 vintage was a featured wine in February's Wine Club package, 2021.

Appearance: Bright, semi-opaque. Dark ruby-coloured core.
Nose: Black cherry and raspberry aromas with hints of black pepper and green herbs.
Palate: Medium acid, medium tannin, medium body. Dry. Black cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant, and hints of smoke and black pepper.
Quality: Outstanding. 90 points. Well balanced. Drink now or hold for 1-2 years.


Food Pairing: Southwestern strip steak with salsa, lemongrass chicken, creamed swiss chard on toast, lasagna with béchamel sauce, and pork and sausage gumbo with okra.
