The nose is ripe cherry, strawberry, cola and tea with a slight carrot tone. The palate is dry, and the tannins are integrating well with a freshness. You’re safe with modestly seasoned poultry or accompanied with roasted root vegetables and creamy brie.

Residual Sugar: 3.6 g/L

Appearance: Solid ruby colour.
Nose: Cherry and tea leaf bouquet with toasty oak spice.
Palate: Medium-bodied, dry, fleshy, cherry flavour with subtle oak notes with firm, but ripe tannins.
Quality: Outstanding. 90 points. Enjoyable now, but will reward patience – 1 -2 years in bottle.


Food Pairing: Beetroot and squash wellington with kale pesto, seared duck with pickled red cabbage, lobster roll, beef carpaccio with truffle vinaigrette, and turkey and spinach meatballs.
