Description
The nose has notes of blackberry, blueberry, smoked meat, and pipe tobacco. The palate is dry with a flattering acidity that makes this wine very food friendly. Juicy fruit and peppercorn spice round out the wine. Enjoy with Pizza, burgers, or hotdogs any day of the week.

Varietal: Cabernet Franc (50%), Merlot (30%), Dornfelder (10%) & Petit Verdot (10%)

Appearance: Deep ruby colour.
Nose: Cedary, spicy, plum, vanilla, and tobacco leaf.
Palate: Medium-bodied, dry, raisin-y, plum and blackberry flavours carried on racy acidity; rich mouth-feel.
Quality: Very Good+ to Outstanding. 89-90 points. Can be consumed now, but hold a year for the bouquet to develop.
Food Pairing: French dip sandwich, strawberry turnovers, grilled rack of lamb with ratatouille, refried bean quesadillas with jalapeños, and mushroom-stuffed meatloaf.
