Our 2018 Estate Pinot Noir offers aromas of ripe cherry, plum and vanilla. Bright cherry, strawberry and baking spices on the palate. This pinot is medium bodied with well balanced acidity and silky tannins.
30% Whole Cluster and wild fermented. Aged for 12 months in barrel. 2 years bottle aged.

The “regular” pinot noir sees 30 per cent whole cluster (as opposed to 100 in the Reserve) and wild ferment, followed by 12 months in barrel, then two years of bottle age. Just a pinch of residual sugar and well delineated acidity works in tandem with the markedly Bourguignons effect for a dreamy Westcott ’18 that recites an elegant vintage tale. The aromatics mimic the Reserve, tar and roses, teas and forest scents. Terrific equanimity between all parts, so well served, enticing and gregarious. More openness here and the invitation will stay that way for a few years, at the very least. Drink 2021-2025. Tasted October 2021.
