Liebling 2023 Sauvignon Blanc
Rated 90 points, this sauvignon blanc exudes a grassy, gooseberry bouquet followed by crisp flavours of green passionfruit, peach pit, and lime zest. Its excellent length makes it a versatile food wine, pairing splendidly with tuna tataki, grilled halloumi with honey and walnuts, or clam chowder.
Liebling 2023 Riesling
This is a beautiful expression of the varietal. On the nose, floral and lime zest aromas set the stage for a lively palate of grapefruit and lemon. Its bold acidity will allow it to age well, although it's drinking very well now. This riesling shines when paired with mac and cheese topped with crispy bacon or grilled zucchini and eggplant salad with citrus vinaigrette.
Fogolar 2019 Picone Cabernet Franc
This single vineyard cabernet franc features an intense bouquet of violet, blackcurrant, and earth followed by bold flavours of cassis, plum, and black pepper with a tart finish. It's great structure and balance will allow it to age well, but you can enjoy this red now with slow-roasted Turkish lamb or spinach and cheddar quiche.
Fogolar x Finite 2020 Red
This blend of merlot and cabernet franc has a cedary, blackcurrant, and blackberry bouquet with a hint of oak spice. Full-bodied with rich notes of black fruit, green pepper, and savoury green herbs, this is a wine for savouring with braised short ribs, lamb lollipops, or lobster and saffron risotto. Rated 90 points by Tony Aspler.
