TASTING NOTES: Intense notes of wild blueberries, blue plums, black raspberries, violets, and a touch of black pepper spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with soft tannins and flavours of plum and blueberry compote, anise, black pepper, charred rosemary, graphite, and a touch of smoke with a fresh and savoury finish. The finish is long with refreshing acidity.
Enjoy over the short-to-medium term with grilled lamb, BBQ ribs, hard and salty cheeses.
Details:The 2023 Cabernet Franc is 100% aged in stainless steel tanks, preserving true varietal characteristics. This also gives the wine bright acidity and many fruit-forward flavours while being very food-friendly.
