Every bottle from a small winery tells a story—of passion, tradition, and craftsmanship. By choosing wines from Canadian wineries, you're not just enjoying exceptional quality; you're helping family-run vineyards thrive.

Why It Matters

Small wineries don’t have the massive production of big brands, but they do have something special—unique, handcrafted wines made with care. Your support keeps these wineries innovating, preserving local wine traditions, and bringing more variety to your glass.

Your payment is always safe and secure at My Wine Canada. We use advanced encryption and fraud protection to keep your information private. Your credit card details are never stored or shared, so you can shop with confidence. Whether you're sending a gift or treating yourself, your transaction is protected every step of the way.

Shipping

All products are sold and shipped direcly from each producer using Canada Post, FedEx, and other trusted carriers like Loomis, ATS Healthcare, and GLS.

Shipping costs and options are shown at checkout, and you'll receive tracking details from the producer once your order ships. If you're not home, the carrier may leave a notice for pickup at a nearby location. Since alcohol deliveries require ID for age verification, please have it ready when your order arrives.

Niagara Peninsula

London Born Wine Co.

When you think London, you might not think wine...but we do! Our family has come a long way to make the wine we love, right here in Canada. Wine that people love to drink and wine we love to share!

London Born is owned and operated by the Hoare family who are originally from London, England. Our historic 1800's 50 acre estate, "Highland Vineyard" was purchased in 2007 and at that time the farm's principal crop was Concord grapes used for making juice. Since then we have removed these vines, keeping two rows for prosperity and have installed drainage and irrigation to the north of the farm where we have planted vinifera vines with our first vintages released in 2010. Our varieties are Gamay, Cabernet Franc and Riesling. We have kept the existing 50+ year old Marechal Foch vines with their small crop of grapes; the care given these produces an intensely flavored, satisfying full bodied wine.

Situated on the Niagara Escarpment on top of the Beamsville Bench, London Born offers wine tasting and educational tours of the wine making process. With sustainability in mind, the winery incorporates many energy saving features including passive solar heating and a green roof. The living ‘green’ roof and the red roofs can be seen from afar and act as signposts to our door.

Join us for lunch at Silo Bistro and enjoy the culinary delights by our artisan chef, prepared from fresh ingredients sourced from local producers.

We welcome you to visit us in person and discover Niagara's only British themed winery for yourself!
