So who's the featured winery for May? It's the esteemed JoieFarm winery from BC's Naramata Bench! JoieFarm was started in 2003 by Vancouver sommeliers Heidi Noble and Mike Dinn who decided to leave the restaurant industry and get their hands dirty in the Okanagan terroir by handcrafting what is now considered some of the best wine in Canada. The winery's name means "joy" in French and expresses the pleasure that wine and food bring to people's lives. We thought JoieFarm would be the PERFECT winery for May, and a wonderful way to bring wine and joy to your Mom!

This off-dry Riesling is bright and crisp with flavours of lemon, lime, ginger and topical fruit. The Gamay has dark cherry aromas with bramble fruit, white pepper, coffee and, yep, bacon flavours on the palate. Yum!

This one's for the white wine lovers! The lucky recipient will get the 2013 Riesling and the 2015 Unoaked Chardonnay. The crisp Riesling with its touch of honey will pair perfectly with spicy foods.
