In true Twisted style, the 2021 Sparkling Twisted is an adventurous blend comprised of mainly Riesling with a hint of Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer. These components come together to make a lively, fresh and fruity bubbly.
Made in the Charmat Method, this wine was aged on lees in tank for over a month, a secondary fermentation then occurred in the tank, developing fruity aromatics while maintaining bright acidity.
Plenty of green apple, lemon, sweet tarts, and hints of white peach on the nose and palate. Lively acidity and an xtremely clean finish make this a seriously delicious bottle of wine.
The 2020 vintage was a featured wine in December's Wine Club package, 2022.

Appearance: Clear, bright. Pale straw colour.
Nose: Green apple, citrus, a hint of tropical fruit.
Palate: Medium acid, light body. Red apple, tangerine, lemon-lime zest, a hint of minerality. Light effervescence.
Quality: 91 points – Wine Club Canada. Outstanding.
Food Pairing: Thai red curry with sweet potato, cheesy ground beef enchiladas, pub-style fish and chips, creamy chicken and spinach lasagna, and spicy seafood stew with tomato and lime.
