45% Syrah, 28% Cabernet Sauvingon, 27% Cabernet Franc. A complementary New World blend of well structured Cabernet and elegant Syrah. Vibrant berry nose, with hints of licorice and spices. The palate is rich with layers of ripe plum and red berries, savor on its own or pair with roasted red meats, game, or spicy pasta dishes.

    Geographical Indication: VQA Niagara Escarpment
    Varietal: Syrah (46%), Cabernet Franc (27%), Cabernet Sauvignon (27%)
    Vineyard: Estate Vineyard
    Residual Sugar: 5.4 g/L
    Cases Produced: 925

     

    Appearance: Deep ruby in colour.
    Nose: Smoky, toasty, vanilla oak and blackberry and blackcurrant nose.
    Palate: Medium-bodied, dry, juicy and savoury with black plum, blackberry and licorice flavours. Nicely integrated oak and ripe tannins.
    Quality: Outstanding. 90 points. Drink in 2023 and beyond.

     

    Food Pairing: Jerk chicken roti wrap, flat iron steak with charred scallions, green pepper and rice casserole, rabbit and dumplings, and sun-dried tomato chicken bake.
