Appearance: Deep purple-ruby in colour.
Nose: Cedary, blackcurrant, mocha chocolate nose with oak spice.
Palate: Medium-bodied, floral, blackcurrant and black cherry flavours.
Quality: 92 points – Wine Club Canada. Outstanding. Beautifully balanced and ready for drinking but can be cellared for another two years or more.
Food Pairing: Roast beef with mushroom stuffing, falafel with tahini sauce, grilled tomato and gnocchi kebabs, spinach and artichoke crown roast of lamb, and crème brûlée.
