Description from the Producer
Our Reserve Tawny was crafted using a rare blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Touriga National, which were enriched through fortification 3 days into primary fermentation. This unique wine was then aged for a period of 12 years in vintage Bourbon barrels. Brilliant flavours of cinnamon, fig, and chocolate are apparent on the palate, which are complemented by a subtle nuttiness on the finish. This tawny style fortified wine pairs well with artisanal hard cheeses or pecan pie.
