The Merlot grapes for this elegant wine were sourced from the East Bench near Osoyoos. It shows a wonderful balance between luscious red berries such as raspberry, strawberry, and even a hint of cranberry, together with a lush, refined palate, well integrated tannins and a long smooth finish, assisted by the 100% French oak aging.

Appearance: Semi-opaque. Garnet-ruby colour.
Nose: Bold aromas of strawberry fruit compote, earthy, savoury green herbs, and a hint of menthol.
Palate: Medium acid, medium tannin, medium body. Black cherry, plum, black tea, savoury green herbs, and hints of black licorice and pepper spice. Smooth tannins with a balanced finish.
Quality: 92 points – Wine Club Canada. Outstanding.

Food Pairing: Pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, and arugula, spiced pork and mango tacos, cumin and black pepper-crusted filet mignon, scalloped potatoes with onion and gruyere, and honey glazed pepper chicken.
