Deep ruby in colour with an inviting nose of dark cherry, plum and mocha, this wine is fruit driven with a hearty, rich mouth feel and balanced finish.

Alluring aromas of exotic incense, mixed spice and sprigs of savoury herbs are adorned with ripe mulberry, black currant and hints of black plum. A delightful river of red currant and pomegranate is juxtaposed with ripe, juicy black Bing cherry and crème de cassis on the palate and it persists to and through the dry finish and lengthy aftertaste. It’s medium-full bodied with creamy smooth mouthfeel, wonderfully balanced and a lingering delicious aftertaste that’s underpinned by ripe, soft tannin. Pour with grilled red meat under a judicious rub of seasoned salt. (Wine Currents Vic Harradine March 14th 2022)
