- 2022 Haywire King Family Merlot: Our 2022 Merlot is a single vineyard wine from 40 year old vines in Naramata. Exhibiting classical Merlot characteristics of dark ripe blackberries, boysenberries and some savoury leather notes. The wine has been fermented in concrete tanks with twice daily gentle punchdowns. This Merlot is instantly drinkable with supple red fruits, sensual silky tannins and balanced with a freshness only the Okanagan can provide.
- 2023 Haywire Gamay: 100% Gamay fermented in small open top tanks and Nico Velo concrete with twice daily punchdowns for four weeks. 50% whole cluster for increased mid palate weight. A lovely, delectable herbaceousness and a silky finish that only Okanagan Gamay can deliver. Textbook. Pair with gourmet pizzas or charcuterie
- 2022 Haywire Pinot Noir: 100% Pinot Noir from four vineyards provides a snapshot of this variety from all regions of the Okanagan. 50% whole cluster and 50% whole berry, naturally fermented for an average of four weeks before being basket pressed to concrete tanks and foudre for ageing. A beautiful wine with savoury nuances, excellent palate weight and framed with soft tannins. Pairs with light protein or mushroom dishes and soft cheese.
