Oppenlaender Vineyard, Four Mile Creek, Niagara-on-the-Lake. A happy surprise! The 2022 Family Select Cabernet Franc received the same care as our white-label Cabernet Franc, with the only difference being the barrel that it was aged in. Little did we know that this single barrel, which had been used just once before, would create such a distinctive character compared to the others. The difference was so remarkable that we decided to bottle this wine separately as our Family Select. This Cabernet Franc is concentrated in flavour, with notes of ripe berries, floral, savoury undertones, and plush tannins.
