Why It Matters

Small wineries don’t have the massive production of big brands, but they do have something special—unique, handcrafted wines made with care. Your support keeps these wineries innovating, preserving local wine traditions, and bringing more variety to your glass.

Your payment is always safe and secure at My Wine Canada. We use advanced encryption and fraud protection to keep your information private. Your credit card details are never stored or shared, so you can shop with confidence. Whether you're sending a gift or treating yourself, your transaction is protected every step of the way.

Okanagan Valley

Quinta Ferreira Estate Winery

Located in the heart of Oliver, British Columbia; a community which is recognized as the Wine Capital of Canada. Their 20 acres of vineyard and winery are located on the Black Sage Bench with a breathtaking view of the landscape and a fabulous vision overlooking the community.

Owned and operated by John Ferreira; born in Portugal, immigrated to Canada with his family at a young age. They purchased the estate in 1979 as an orchard where they grew cherries, peaches and apples. Coming from a Portuguese heritage, their passion of wine led them to convert the orchard into a vineyard after 20 years in production and packaging of fruit. The conversion of fruit to wine was done over a three-year period with the first Merlot and Chardonnay grapes being planted in 1999, additional varietals followed. Today our vineyard is in full production featuring varietals including Merlot, Chardonnay, Syrah, Viognier, Malbec and most recent Zinfandel and Petit Verdot.
