Winemaker’s Comments
The 2021 Tawse Chardonnay is made from a blend of 40% Estate fruits, and 60% from select Niagara vineyards. This wine is an excellent example of terroir, vintage, and represent a great value! Aged for 10 months in French oak barrels, this cuvée is vibrant and exhibits aromas and white peach, cherry blossom and crème fraîche. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, dry and finishes with bright acidity.
Drink now or age through to 2025!
Food Pairings
The 2021 Tawse Chardonnay, with its bright and spicy flavours, will pair beautifully with roast lobster with tarragon butter or chicken picatta with creamy parmesan polenta. This is also a wine that is delightful all on its own!
