Sourced entirely from our organic Limestone Ridge Estate Vineyard. Viticultural practices included vertical shoot positioning, shoot thinning, cluster thinning and hand leaf removal.

Winemaking Notes: Very pale in colour, the nose explodes with intense aromas of clementine, blood orange, peach, honey and floral. On the palate, is slightly off-dry, balanced, showing flavours reminiscent of orchard fruit, citrus, honey and spring flower buds. The finish is medium-long, vibrant, and crisp.

Food Pairing: Truly a fun and easy-drinking wine that will pair with many different dishes. Try it with a seafood salad, Prosciutto stuffed grilled peaches, Thai curries, or creamy goat cheeses. The best thing about the 2020 Tawse Riesling is how delightful it is all on its own.

Ripe, gregarious, multi-faceted and slightly maturing riesling yet one that is nothing if not fascinating. Can't turn away, will not turn away, must keep nosing and sipping this multifariously designed and executed example. Nectarine and orange zest, peach and lime, all in with sugar-acid balance and length as long as an escarpment lines from lake to lake. Great take on the style. Drink 2023-2029. Tasted blind at NWAC2023, June 2023.
