B.C.'s first cult wine. Rich and jammy with an intense plum nose, the palate has hints of brambles, spice, tobacco leaf and vanilla. Served with grilled beef tenderloin and sauteed chanterelles or coffee and chocolate braised short ribs.

Appearance: Opaque purple colour.
Nose: Earthy, black plum with a herbal note.
Palate: Full-bodied, dry, earthy plum flavour with lively acidity and a touch of bitterness on the finish.
Quality: Very good+ quality. 88 points. Can hold for 1-2 years.
