Geographical Indication:  Okanagan Valley, B.C.

Varietal:  Marechal Foch (94%), Chambourcin (6%)

Vineyard:  Oak Bay Vineyard & St. Hubertus Vineyard

Appearance:  Opaque purple colour.

Nose:  Earthy, black plum with a herbal note.

Palate:  Full-bodied, dry, earthy plum flavour with lively acidity and a touch of bitterness on the finish.

Quality:  Very good+ quality. 88 points. Can hold for 1-2 years.

Food Pairing:  Baked Brie cheese with fig compote, herbed lamb chops, sausage on a bun, bison burgers, jalapeño enchiladas, and roasted root vegetables.
