Long Table Distillery

Long Table was Vancouver's first micro-distillery, opening its doors in February 2013.

It makes gin and botanical spirits in small batches, built on Canadian grain alcohol with organic and foraged West Coast botanicals doing the flavouring. The house style is recognisably local without being a novelty.

Every bottle ships straight from the distillery.

Long Table ships in quantities of 1, 2, 3 and 6 bottle shipping formats. Please arrange your order accordingly.

The story behind Long Table

Long Table was founded in 2010 by Charles Tremewen and his partner Rita, and opened its doors in downtown Vancouver in 2013. At the time it was one of the city's first inner-city distilleries, tucked into a small space near False Creek.

The name comes from the idea of gathering people around a long table to share a drink. Gin is the heart of the place, made in small batches with a copper pot still.

Small-batch spirits, copper pot still

Long Table works the traditional way: 100% Canadian grain spirit, a copper pot still, and small batches you could count by hand. Botanicals are chosen with a West Coast slant.

The London Dry is the backbone, but the Cucumber Gin is the one people talk about, made with BC farm cucumbers and nine botanicals. It won gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2015. Texada Vodka and a Nordic-style Akvavit round out the shelf.
