Squeezed is three siblings, Christina, Nicole and Michael Ferreira, on Tucelnuit Drive in Oliver.

They grew up on an orchard, spending summers picking and packing soft fruit in the family packing house. Then came a decade working in different corners of the wine trade. The wines are fruit forward and built for a Tuesday rather than an anniversary.

The story behind Squeezed

Squeezed is a family project in Oliver where wine meets spirits under one roof, part winery and part distillery. The three Ferreira siblings, Christina, Nicole, and Michael, grew up in the local orchard and packinghouse world before opening it in 2021.

They come from a wine family too. Michael, the winemaker, has been making wine since 2005 and is connected to the nearby Quinta Ferreira winery.

Where wine meets spirit

The whole idea is to blur the line between the two, making both handcrafted wine and small-batch spirits on the same South Okanagan site. That crossover is unusual, and it suits a family with deep fruit-growing roots.

Everything is small in scale and family-built, right down to the vineyard-view suites you can stay in overnight. It is a personal, hands-on operation.
