This Bianco is truly a perfect sipping wine. With a golden hue to a white-water finish in the glass. The nose carries notes of honey while the palate is full of pears and apricots. The fresh acidity of this wine gives a clean crisp finish. Pair with a stone fire margherita pizza or a scallop ceviche.

    Geographical Indication: VQA Niagara Peninsula
    Varietal: Gewurztraminer (40%), Chardonnay (30%), Pinot Gris (20%), Sauvignon Blanc (10%)
    Residual Sugar: 6.6 g/L
    Cases Produced: 100

     

    Appearance: Bright, medium straw colour.
    Nose: Aromatic, spicy, lychee, rose petal and ginger on the nose.
    Palate: Medium-bodied, dry, honeysuckle and peach flavours; elegant and lingering. A beautifully balanced wine.
    Quality: Outstanding. 90 points. Drink now, but save some for the summer.

     

    Food Pairing: Scallop ceviche with toasted coconut and passionfruit, fish and chips with apple and pear slaw, ham and potato soup, polenta with black truffle and parmesan, and steamed clams with parsnips.
