Nose: A complex bouquet of dark cherry, plum, blackcurrant, sage, and pepper spice.
Palate: Medium acid, medium tannin, medium body. Flavours of black cherry, dark raspberry, blackberry, savoury green herbs, and black pepper. Well-balanced with fine tannins.
Quality: 91 points – Wine Club Canada. Outstanding.
Food Pairing: Charcuterie with goat cheese and prosciutto, bangers and mash with onion gravy, veal parmesan, cauliflower gnocchi caprese, and sheet pan-smoked paprika chicken.
