Description/Winemaker's Notes
The 2023 vintage was cool and consistent. The fruit was able to hang healthily on the vine and allowed perfect ripeness for the Syrah. This wine was harvested in early November, making it one of the last picks of the season. This wine was aged in French and American oak to round out flavours and texture.
Tasting Notes
Beautiful deep purple colour. The nose is full of white pepper and dried cranberry notes with a touch of leather and licorice as well. On the palate, it has darker fruit and notes of clove and nutmeg. Â The finish is bolder than the nose would allude to.
Pairing Suggestions
This would pair great with lamb, Bolognese, or roasted eggplant.
