- Dean’s List Meritage 2020: Stunning deep red colour. Expressive nose of dark fruits, moving towards jammy. Subtle smokiness on nose, paired with a slight herbaceous character. Beautifully ripe fruit on the palate, with a touch of graphite. Grippy tannin but mellow finish that will have this wine aging beautifully
- Balance Cabernet Franc 2022: The 2022 vintage was a smaller crop, coming off a harvest winter in Niagara, but lower yields lead to more concentrated fruit. The wine aged for 16 months in a mix of French and America Oak to support the fruit and soften tannin.
- Dean’s List Chardonnay 2019: This wine is a beautiful expression of letting the vineyard and vintage speak for itself. The 2019 growing season was a cooler one in Niagara, and therefore help keep sugars in check, while retaining beautiful acidity. This Chardonnay for the St. David’s Bench was aged in a combination of new and neutral French oak to balance the freshness of the fruit and the softness of the barrel.
