Tasting Notes: The nose is bright with green apple, lime, honeysuckle, and grapefruit with nuances of river rocks and lanolin. The palate shows off crunchy green apples, key lime, ginger, grapefruit and kiwi with a nice minerality. It’s off-dry with a fine line of acidity, creating the perfect balance to enjoy.
Food Pairing: Fresh summer salads, crudité, ceviche, pork schnitzel with apple sauce, fish, lemon chicken, eggs benedict, cheese fondue, smoked salmon, tandoori chicken, thai green curry, crab Rangoon, roasted chicken or turkey.
Production Info: The 2024 vintage started off with early bud break, with the season continuing to be nice and warm. The wines from this vintage show great intensity and concentration with a certain elegance and complexity. The Riesling vines were planted on our vineyard in 2016 and have grown really well here on this cooler sight. This wine is all about balance. Left slightly off-dry to balance the bright acidity, giving us a naturally lower alcohol wine with freshness and great intensity.
