Description from the Producer
Tasting Notes: Beautiful bright ruby colour, dark fresh fruit, and well integrated oak on the nose. The palate offers freshness and juiciness with elegant tannin and a medium finish.
Pairing Suggestions: Skirt steak and chimichurri, or grilled peppers.
Description/Winemakers Notes: The first crop of Cabernet Franc from our Taylor Road Vineyard was grown in perfect conditions and although a smaller yield, it offered amazing ripeness. This wine was fermented on skins for two weeks and aged in large format oak foudres for 8 months before being transferred to smaller oak barrels.
