When we created Twisted from the 2004 vintage it was because we thought our approach to wine was a little different. We quickly found that not only was our approach a little off beat, but our customers were also slightly warped. With Twisted we found a wine that reflects the individuality of each one of us. This unique blend is a testament to the fact that we are all, happily, slightly twisted.Twisted will always be a staple at Flat Rock Cellars, and as the years go by, we just get better at dialing in that perfect blend of Riesling (72%), gewürztraminer (17%), and Chardonnay (11%).
Tasting Notes: Riesling dominates the nose and palate with a subtle, uplifted aromatic contribution from the gewürztraminer and a smooth finish from the Chardonnay. Beautifully balanced off-dry, easy drinking wine.
