The grapes for this wine were hand selected from Phinny Hill Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills. The vineyard sits on top of a sunny, wind-swept hill that forces the vines to fight the elements and invest a lot of energy into ripening the grapes. The result is a very powerful wine with deep and complex flavours that can age for many years.
Tasting Note: A full body wine with notes of blackberry, cherry and coffee.
Recommended drinking 2021–2028.
WINEMAKING: Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (35% new)
