Aromas of dark red fruits, cocoa nibs, bright florals, and subtle earth tones rise from the glass, creating a bold and expressive nose. The palate is full and rounded, showing impressive concentration and a balance of softness and structure. Layers of ripe fruit, floral complexity, and spice unfold gracefully, leading to a long, evolving finish that’s both powerful and elegant.
Sourced from 80% Churchside Vineyard & 20% South Clos. Destemmed, no crushing, then cold soaked for 3-5 days. Fermentation took place entirely in large tonneaux, followed by 100% malolactic fermentation in barrel. Aged exclusively in seasoned French oak.
Pair with duck breast or confit with sour cherry sauce, grilled rack of lamb, firm aged cheeses, hearty stews, or roasted root vegetables.
