Winemaker’s Comments: The Tintern Road Vineyard is our youngest estate planting of Pinot Noir. Before planting in 2010, this land had never been leveled or cultivated and still possessed it's natural topography. The site was studied by worldclass geologist Yves Herody who urged us to plant Pinot Noir, as it would best express the terroir of this raw land. This complex wine was aged 12 months in French oak and displays notes of raspberry, tart cherry, coffee and sandalwood.
Food Pairings: This pinot noir with its bold tannins will pair beautifully wild mushroom risotto, porchetta or roast duck with duck-fat roasted potatoes.
