Tasting Note: A medium body wine with aromas of cranberry and raspberry and flavours of cherry, peach, coffee and pecan.
The grapes for this wine were hand selected from Six Prong Vineyard 20 years old Sangiovese vines, and Cabernet Sauvignon from Painted Hills and Red Willow Vineyards in the Horse Heaven Hills in the Columbia Valley. The Cabernet Sauvignon gives depth and structure to the wine and serves as a compliment to the red fruit and high acidity of the Sangiovese. Producing a complex, enjoyable and food friendly wine.
The 2018 vintage was a featured wine in April 2023's Wine Club package.

Appearance: Semi-opaque. Dark garnet colour.
Nose: A lovely nose of red cherry, raspberry, blueberry, plum, coffee, pecan, leather, and a hint of smoke.
Palate: Medium acid, medium tannin, medium body. Fruit-forward notes of cherry, dark raspberry, blackberry, and plum are followed by savoury green herbs and hints of pepper spice. Beautifully balanced with fine tannins and a long finish.
Quality: 91 points – Wine Club Canada. Outstanding.
Food Pairing: Turkey scallopini with creamy lemon sauce, pork chops stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach, spicy sausage pizza, lamb souvlaki, and grilled carrots with sweet soy glaze.
