12 months in neutral French oak. This Gamay emanates aromas and flavours of black currant, raisins and black cherries. On the back palate you can find flavours reminiscent of dried fruit leathers and bacon fat.
Tasting Notes: This Gamay emanates aromas and flavours of black currant, raisins and black cherries. On the back palate you can find flavours reminiscent of dried fruit leathers and bacon fat. Light-medium in body with slightly pronounced tannins and bright acidity, this wine should age up to 5 years.
Farm Notes: Domaine Artema Estate Vineyard
Maker Notes: Harvested from 3 blocks on the Artema Vineyard, this Gamay spent 12 days fermenting with whole berries in stainless steel tanks. Once pressed, the wine completed fermentation in tank. Subsequently, new French oak (20%) was used to add complexity to the wine.
