Tasting Notes: This medium bodied red blend has soft notes of cherry licorice, cocoa, delicate rhubarb, and ripe purple plumbs on the palate and finishes with lingering spice. This wine finishes dry and displays elegant fruit, layered and held together with balanced acid and tannin structures.
Food Pairing Notes: Pair this red blend with pulled pork tacos, smoky chipotle chilli, and BBQ burgers topped with sharp melted cheddar.
Winemaker Notes: Both varietals were sourced from Creek Shores appellation. This wine demonstrates how Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc complement each other to create a complete mouth feel. Cabernet Sauvignon provides the deep ripe berry nuances and Cabernet Franc provides structure and spice.
