Tasting Notes: Our Sand & Gravel Chardonnay is a beautiful golden straw colour that offers a classic enjoyable expression of Chardonnay with all elements - fruit, spice, creaminess. With aromas and flavours of caramel, candy apple, lemon and butter toffee, this wine is soft, juicy, savoury and dry.
Food Pairing Notes: This Chardonnay is a very inviting food wine. Try pairing this wine with wild mushroom pizza, seabass, charred cabbage salad with smoked trout, pork tenderloin, roasted chicken or scalloped potatoes.
Winemaker Notes: When making Chardonnay, various steps are taken during processing such as berry sorting, whole cluster pressing, partial crushing and slow, low pressure press cycles. This wine was aged in French oak barrels that are 3-10 years old for for a total of 16 months.
