Description from the Producer
Pronounced aromas of blackberry, black cherry, black currant and plum, layered with fig, violet, vanilla and a hint of cured meat. The palate delivers juicy dark fruit framed by savoury sage and graphite, adding depth and complexity. Medium-bodied with a silky texture and medium tannins.
The grapes were hand-harvested and destemmed, then cold-soaked for about six days ahead of natural fermentation. After a gentle press, the wine was aged in French oak for 13 months (25% new).
