Tasting Notes: The nose on this white wine is complex with aromas filled with floral and herbal notes such as jasmine and ginger. On the palate, the wine is refreshing and filled with flavours of grapefruit, clementine, pineapple and a touch of ginger. Good acidity and just enough sweetness give this wine a pleasantly rounder mid-palate but allows the wine to linger and finish on a dry note.
Food Pairing: The sweetness level of this wine allows you to really experiment with food and wine pairings because of the complementary level of acidity. Foods that are rich, foods with spice; think fusion or traditional Alsatian dishes. Pair this with Münster cheese, smoked pork belly, sauerkraut and pork sausage, roasted ham, quiche, halibut, chicken tangine, peking duck, panang chicken.
