THE NOTES: Warm and long, the 2019 growing season produced fruit of great concentration and ripeness. This is clearly evident in our Redstone Icewine. Made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested at -8 degrees Celsius, this delectable Icewine is truly a delight! The nose is bursting with tart cherry, raspberry jam, black currants and blueberries. The palate is rich and unctuous but perfectly balanced by lively acidity and a long finish.

THE PAIRINGS: While perfectly enjoyable on its own to top off a nice meal, this delightful Icewine is the perfect dessert companion – whether fruity and light or downright decadent! Enjoy it with strawberry shortcake, strawberry rhubarb crumble pie or berry-topped cheesecake. It would also be terrific with a brownie with a sprinkle of sea salt. In the mood for something more savoury? Enjoy it with blue cheese or your favourite pate.

Clean, intense nose, with lively, fruity palate, offering strawberry purée and hibiscus flower flavours. Balanced acids and high sugar, I like the sapidity here. Works really well. 225 grams per liter of residual sugar, 9.5% alc. 10.2 TA. Tasted January 2023.
