- The berries were destemmed and fermented separately in both oak foudres and stainless steel. The wine was transferred to neutral French oak barrels for 15 months before blending.

Appearance: Purple-ruby in colour.
Nose: Toasty, plum and blackcurrant nose.
Palate: Medium-bodied, dry, well-extracted cinnamon-scented flavours of plum and blackcurrant with a firm tannic structure.
Quality: 91 points - Wine Club Canada. Outstanding. Drinkable now, but will reward cellaring for a couple of years.
Food Pairing: Crispy slow-roasted pork belly, lamb gyros with tzatziki, ravioli with spinach, tofu and ricotta, sliced strip steak with arugula and parsley, and chicken marinated in soy sauce and citrus zest.
