Description from the Producer
Exciting in its dense precision and angularity and absolutely classic in form, this is a pure assemblage of focused, pure Cabernet Franc and the juicier, more decadent Merlot. Austere, lovely, but undeniably built for the long haul, this is the enigma that is "Droite." When we taste this wine, we believe in the ‘Lake Effect’ that ripens these two grapes so fully. The wine has an inviting nose with dark maraschino cherries.
Aged in french oak barrels for 16-18 months.
