Description/Winemaker's Notes
A cooler vintage allowed the Chardonnay to maintain fresh, bright acidity, a sharp contrast to the hot, dry vintage that preceded it. The lower temperatures help preserve natural acidity and allow longer aging potential of the wines. This wine was made without oak to showcase the bright fruit and minerality.
Tasting Notes
Clear pale straw in colour. The nose is very perfumed with melon and candied lemon. The palate is full of meyer lemon and slight honey notes. The fruity finish is balanced with racing acidity.
Pairing Suggestions
Oysters, lemon tarts, or salads with citrus-based vinaigrettes.
