WINE MAKING The grapes (78% Orange Muscat, 16% Muscat Blanc, and 6% Muscat Canelli) were picked mid-September from the Osoyoos region, then gently pressed, cool fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks for pure varietal expression. Fermentation was arrested early to retain the perfect balance of natural sweetness and refreshing acidity. The warmer climate of the South Okanagan Valley tends to express the Muscat grapes citrus and floral aromatics. FLAVOUR PROFILE This Muscat blend is clear and bright with pure fruit aromas of yellow apple, sweet citrus, golden kiwi, and ripe melon, along with lovely notes of summer rose and orange blossoms. This is a light-bodied, medium-sweet, smooth yet refreshing white wine with flavours of juicy tropical fruit, honeydew melon, golden kiwi, peach, and sweet citrus, which also linger beautifully on the finish. SERVING SUGGESTIONS Serve with Cajun chicken; spiced vegetable or chicken stir-fries over Jasmine rice; sushi with pickled ginger; spiced steamed mussels; honey glazed baked ham; roast pork with apricot stuffing; Moroccan spiced pork tenderloin; salty appetizers; spicy crab cakes; spiced Thai and Indian cuisine.
