Ontario's original blended white wine, Twisted, is celebrating 20 years of wowing palates and winning over tastebuds across Ontario.
The 2023 Twisted Special Anniversary Edition is a blend of 74% Riesling, 15.54% Gewürztraminer and 9.86% Chardonnay.
All Twisted wines are made with the same intent and attention to detail as our Flat Rock Cellars wines. To create the ultimate expression of Niagara, we have always used a blend of Riesling, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer — varieties that are optimally suited to the climate and soils of the region. Each year, a meticulous blending session takes place over several days with plenty of debate on how best to express the subtle nuance of each variety while achieving harmony in the final blend. With vastly different flavour profiles and chemical compositions among the three varieties, Twisted is one of the most challenging (and rewarding) wines to make each year.
Fun, fresh, fruity, apricots, grapefruit, white flowers and a little of our signature minerality.
