Description from the Producer
History can inspire and inform the present. What happens when you allow a wine to be made using only techniques from the past?
This project is the ultimate expression of hand-crafted. Using traditional methods we hand-picked, hand-sorted, hand-plunged, hand-pressed in an antique wooden basket press. We went the whole nine yards with our own two hands. After 30 days fermenting on skins this blend of 58% Riesling and 42% Gewurztraminer is full of rose, orange peel and ginger root on the nose. The skin contact adds texture to the palate and lean acidity runs through the finish. Our focused interpretation of an orange wine.

Why It Matters
Small wineries don’t have the massive production of big brands, but they do have something special—unique, handcrafted wines made with care. Your support keeps these wineries innovating, preserving local wine traditions, and bringing more variety to your glass.
Your payment is always safe and secure at My Wine Canada. We use advanced encryption and fraud protection to keep your information private. Your credit card details are never stored or shared, so you can shop with confidence. Whether you're sending a gift or treating yourself, your transaction is protected every step of the way.
