Description from the Producer
VQA Lincoln Lakeshore
Winemaker's Notes: Intensely fruity and floral scents unleash candied citrus, peach pie, apricot, honeysuckle and lily of the valley, spiced by ginger and tarragon. Flavours are just as vivid; a taste finds more peach, mandarin orange, apricot, baked pear and honey, delivered with a silky texture with pleasing weight.
At the time of bottling, alcohol measured 13%; residual sugar 1 g/L; titratable acidity 6.8 g/L; pH 3.87. Dry. Vegan friendly. Enjoy now to 2030.
Tasting notes by Tony Aspler
Appearance: Bright straw. Nose: Aromatic and spicy, with honeysuckle and peach. Palate: Medium-bodied and dry, with creamy, perfumed peach flavours. Elegant and well balanced, with excellent length and a lovely mouthfeel.
Serve: 9–11 °C, lightly chilled to preserve its perfume and creamy texture. Drinking window: now through 2027.
Pairing: Chinese-style roast pork with five-spice, honey and ginger; crispy shrimp with ginger and scallion; triple-cream Brie with almonds and fresh peach; Thai-inspired coconut and vegetable curry; poached peaches with vanilla and crème fraîche.
