Description from the Producer
Winemaker’s Notes:
The 2023 Lakeshore Sémillon opens with rich, expressive aromas of pear, candied apple, honey, and fresh lemon. Thirty percent of the wine was aged in neutral French barrels, while the remaining seventy percent was kept unoaked. After four months of separate aging, the two components were blended to build texture and balance without overwhelming the varietal character.
On the palate, this wine is dry and round with notes of melon, honey, and subtle citrus. The texture is smooth and harmonious, supported by refreshing acidity that keeps the finish clean and lively. Layered and quietly complex, it reveals more with each sip.
A versatile white that pairs beautifully with seafood, aged cheeses, creamy pasta dishes, and white pizza. Whether enjoyed at the table or on its own, this Sémillon brings a polished and satisfying elegance to any moment.
