What a National Wine Award Medal Means
Judges taste blind. No label, no producer, no price — just the wine in the glass, scored against everything else in its flight. A medal here says a panel rated this above its peers without knowing whose it was, which is a different claim from a good review or a high score on a shelf talker.
It does not promise you will like it. Blind judging rewards balance, typicity and cleanliness, and that is not the same as rewarding the bottle you would most enjoy on a Tuesday. Read a medal as a floor on quality. On a marketplace this size, that floor is worth something.
Working Through 260 Medal Winners
This page spans every colour and style, which makes it a lot to scroll. Two collections narrow it by colour and keep the same award behind them: the medal-winning reds and the medal-winning whites. Both are the same National Wine Awards filter applied to one colour.
If the award is not what you are shopping on, the full Canadian red wine and Canadian white wine pages are the wider view. The other competitions we track are listed on the awards page.
Everything ships direct from the winery that made it. Order from two wineries and two parcels arrive on two timelines.
